Gabby Anderson is more than just a Division I athlete—she’s a creative force making waves far beyond the basketball court. A rising senior at Harvard University majoring in economics, Gabby is the founder of Graffiti by Gabby, a custom art company born from her passion for art and storytelling.

What began as painting shoes for friends quickly evolved into a thriving business attracting attention from all walks of life. One of her earliest and most meaningful projects was designing a custom pair for WNBA legend Sue Bird. “I’m so proud of that shoe,” Gabby says. “To work with someone who means so much to our game was an honor.” Since then, her designs have been featured in the NFL’s My Cleats, My Cause, Nike’s DIY with Kai campaign, and on the feet of several NBA stars.

But for Gabby, this work is about more than just sneakers. “I was asked to create a pair for one of my mom’s friends fighting cancer. I painted an original Black girl ninja character I designed. She wears them to chemo. That’s when I knew—this is bigger than shoes.”

Today, Graffiti by Gabby has grown into a full creative brand encompassing custom artwork, commissioned paintings, digital content, and a product line called Brilliant, Authentic and Black, featuring her original designs. She also created Soul II Sole, a web series where she crafts custom shoes inspired by people's passions and tells their stories through art. Gabby was also commissioned by Walmart to paint portraits of five trailblazing beauty entrepreneurs. Her work became the centerpiece of an endcap display featured in over 1,500 stores nationwide.

Gabby is represented by William Morris Endeavor and remains focused on using her talents to give back. Her dream? To grow her company into a platform that funds and fuels arts education in underserved communities. “Everything I’ve done has led to this moment. Creating art that makes a difference—that was always the goal.”
