This series was created as part of a personal study to interpret Blackness across time and countries. What started as an outward reflection quickly turned inward as I challenged myself to ignore what I wanted and focus on what I felt.

This series draws from images taken at concerts, my time studying in London, and everyday experiences with my friends. I also draw upon the slave trade to make sense of the connectivity between black people across different ethnicities.
